Gentle Strategies for Amplifying Your Wellness Mini-Retreat

October 8, 2022

This love-filled mini-retreat offers you pleasurable ways to unleash your body’s innate wisdom while exploring gentle and effective ways to amplify your wellness. Susan Tate, author of Wellness Wisdom: 31 Ways to Nourish Your Mind, Body and Spirit, will share strategies for you to create a life that radiates joy and nourishes the mind/body temple.

The afternoon will include creative discussion, presentation, inquiry, mindful movement, and meditation. Stress reduction, self-care, nourishment (through food and other choices), and mindfulness will be included in the discussion. We will close the afternoon with a uniquely choreographed Nia* routine, followed a beautiful walk to the sacred meditation hall for a special 30-minute meditation time with Synchronicity’s High-Tech Meditation® music.

*A delightful mixture of dance arts, martial arts, and mindfulness, Nia is a holistic movement and wellness practice for your body, mind, and soul. Practiced barefoot, (but you can wear shoes!) Nia is non-impact and adaptable to individual needs and abilities. Nia encourages people of all shapes, sizes, and abilities to dance at their own pace, listen to their bodies, and to welcome in pleasure.

**If you’d like to make a reservation to stay overnight at the Sanctuary, please call 757-644-3400.
