Payment & Cancellation Policy
Guest Presenter Retreats

Payment Policy:
  • Deposit: 50% of PREMISES (facilities) FEE is due within five (5) business days of signing the Hosted Retreat Agreement.

  • Balance Payment: Is due for PREMISES, ACCOMMODATIONS and any additional fees or charges thirty (30) days prior to the Retreat start date.

  • Final Payment: Final Payment will be due on Retreat departure day for any additional fees, charges, or incidentals that may have been incurred within thirty (30) days of the Retreat start date.

  • Credit Card: A valid Credit Card must be kept on file to be charged for any damage to Premises caused by Host Group.

  • Payments: Made out to Synchronicity Foundation, Inc., 2610 Adial Road, Faber, Virginia 22938
In the event of cancellation:
  • If the retreat is canceled within 60 to 120 days prior to the Retreat start date, a $100 administrative fee will be charged and the balance of the Premises (facilities) Fee deposit along with all other payments will be refunded.
  • No refund of the Premises Fee deposit is available if cancellation is within sixty (60) days of the Retreat start date. However, all other payments will be refunded.
  • In any event, cancellation will be determined no later than thirty (30) days prior to the Retreat start date. No refund of the Premises Fee deposit is available. However, all other payments will be refunded.
  • If full payment of all fees and charges along with any required information or documents are not received thirty (30) days prior to the Retreat start date Synchronicity Foundation reserves the right to cancel your reservation without a Premises Fee deposit refund. However, all other payments will be refunded.

FORCE MAJEURE: Synchronicity Foundation, Inc. (SFI) may terminate or suspend its obligations under any agreement if obligations are delayed, prevented, or rendered impractical by any of the following circumstances to the extent that such event is beyond the reasonable control of SFI:

A) Fire, flood, riot, earthquake, civil commotion, insurrection, Act of God, labor disputes, strikes, unforeseen conditions, war shortage of or inability to obtain materials, supplies, or utilities, Act of War, Act of Terrorism, or any law, ordinance, rule or regulation.

B) In any such event, SFI shall not be liable to Host Group for delay or failure to perform its obligations, except there shall be a pro-rated reduction in the consideration, which would otherwise be due and payable under this agreement.
